Larry Leake is a veteran attorney, having practiced law for over forty years throughout Western North Carolina, and having recently retired as a North Carolina District Court Judge in the 24th Judicial District.
Mr. Leake has an extensive amount of experience in a broad range of practices areas. As an attorney, he tried the most serious of felonies and misdemeanors of all kinds. He litigated civil actions of all types, including professional malpractice, condemnation cases, and countless property and contract actions. Throughout his career, Mr. Leake successfully represented numerous governmental agencies, including counties, municipalities and boards of education.
Mr. Leake is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. He went on to graduate from the University of North Carolina School of Law. He is licensed to practice in the State Courts of North Carolina, all Federal Courts in North Carolina, the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals and the U. S. Supreme Court.
