Clark began his legal career by practicing criminal defense law, but is happy to now be practicing general law at Leake & Stokes where he has worked in numerous areas including criminal defense, juvenile delinquency, family law, civil litigation, real estate, and estate planning. Mr. Leake has an extensive amount of experience in a broad range of practices areas. As an attorney, he tried the most serious of felonies and misdemeanors of all kinds. He litigated civil actions of all types, including professional malpractice, condemnation cases, and countless property and contract actions. Throughout his career, Mr. Leake successfully represented numerous governmental agencies, including counties, municipalities and boards of education. Mr. Leake is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. He went on to graduate from the University of North Carolina School of Law. He is licensed to practice in the State Courts of North Carolina, all Federal Courts in North Carolina, the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals and the U. S. Supreme Court.
